LAWLI Podcast

Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Welcome to LAWLI Podcast, a division of LAWLI — Life As We Love It.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of lawlipodcast.com, including its episodes, audio and video content, livestreams, guest programme, newsletter, merchandise store, audience-interaction features, and links to other LAWLI properties and third-party platforms (collectively, the “Podcast Services”).

By accessing or using the Podcast Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with any additional terms, policies, purchase terms, or rules expressly incorporated into them.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Podcast Services.

These Terms are intended for a global audience. Certain rights and protections may apply to you under the mandatory laws of the country or region where you live. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Who Provides the Podcast Services

The Podcast Services are provided by LAWLI — Life As We Love It (“LAWLI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

LAWLI Podcast may include:

  • Podcast episodes and episode libraries;
  • Audio, video, written, visual, and other media content;
  • Livestreams and recorded live sessions;
  • Guest applications and guest appearances;
  • Audience questions, comments, and other submissions;
  • Newsletters, email communications, and downloadable resources;
  • Sponsorship and advertising opportunities;
  • Merchandise and related products;
  • Links to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Instagram, Amazon, and other third-party platforms; and

The other LAWLI divisions may have separate terms, policies, and agreements. If you use another LAWLI division, the terms specifically applicable to that division may also apply to your use of that property or service.

Where you use the Podcast Services, these Terms apply to that use. If a separate written agreement applies to a specific transaction or relationship, including a guest appearance, sponsorship, merchandise purchase, or production engagement, that written agreement will control to the extent of any conflict with these Terms.

You may use the Podcast Services only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.

You must be at least 17 years old to use the Podcast Services without parental or guardian involvement.

  • These Terms;
  • Applicable laws and regulations;
  • The rights of other users, guests, creators, sponsors, and third parties; and

Podcast Content and Licence

The Podcast Services contain audio, video, artwork, photographs, written material, episode descriptions, transcripts, logos, graphics, music, promotional content, and other materials (“Podcast Content”).

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, LAWLI grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to:

  • Stream or listen to Podcast Content;
  • Watch Podcast Content through an authorized player;
  • Access Podcast Content for personal, non-commercial use; and
  • Share links to official LAWLI Podcast pages or authorized third-party episode pages.

This licence does not transfer ownership of any Podcast Content to you.

Unless you have our prior written permission, you must not:

  • Download, capture, copy, or store Podcast Content except through an authorized download feature expressly provided by LAWLI or an authorized platform;
  • Re-upload Podcast Content to another website, application, platform, channel, or service;
  • Re-broadcast, publicly perform, or transmit Podcast Content;
  • Re-edit, remix, alter, translate, dub, or create derivative works from Podcast Content;
  • Create clips, compilations, excerpts, or promotional materials for commercial use;

  • Suggest that LAWLI endorses or is affiliated with your use of Podcast Content.

LAWLI may revoke this licence at any time where permitted by law. Upon revocation or termination, you must stop the unauthorized use of Podcast Content.

Third-Party Platforms

LAWLI may distribute or display episodes through third-party platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Instagram, Amazon, and other services.

Those platforms are operated by independent third parties and are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, community standards, and other rules. LAWLI does not control:

  • The availability, functionality, or security of third-party platforms;
  • Their privacy or data-processing practices;
  • Their advertising, recommendations, algorithms, or content moderation;
  • Changes to their services, applications, or terms; or
  • Content posted by third parties on those platforms.

Your use of a third-party platform is at your own risk and is subject to that platform’s terms. LAWLI is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, accuracy, security, or privacy practices of third-party platforms.

Third-party embedded players, analytics tools, social-media feeds, and other integrations may collect information or set cookies according to the third party’s practices. Please review the applicable third-party policies and the LAWLI Podcast Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Guest Appearances

7.1 Guest applications

Submitting a guest application does not guarantee that you will be selected, contacted, interviewed, published, paid, or featured.

LAWLI may accept, reject, defer, or discontinue any guest application at its discretion. We may request additional information, references, releases, photographs, media kits, or other materials before confirming an appearance.

7.2 Separate guest agreement

If LAWLI selects you as a guest, you may be required to sign a separate Guest Appearance and Media Release before recording or publication. That agreement may address:

  • Recording logistics;
  • Appearance rights;
  • Name, image, likeness, voice, biography, and performance rights;
  • Editorial control;
  • Promotional use;
  • Compensation, if any;
  • Confidentiality;
  • Scheduling and cancellation;
  • Ownership and licensing;
  • Publicity and social-media use; and
  • Other terms specific to the appearance.

If the separate written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate agreement will control for that appearance.

7.3 Recording and editorial rights

By participating in a LAWLI Podcast appearance, and subject to any separate written agreement, you grant LAWLI a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to record, photograph, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, distribute, display, perform, broadcast, stream, advertise, promote, archive, and otherwise use your appearance across all media and formats now known or later developed.

This licence may include use of your:

  • Name;
  • Professional or personal biography;
  • Image and likeness;
  • Voice;
  • Statements and opinions;
  • Performance;
  • Photograph;
  • Social-media handle;
  • Headshot;
  • Media kit; and
  • Other materials supplied in connection with your appearance.

LAWLI may edit an episode for length, clarity, technical quality, editorial structure, safety, compliance, or legal reasons. LAWLI is not required to publish an episode, publish it in full, or provide an opportunity to approve the final edit unless a separate agreement expressly says otherwise.

LAWLI owns the copyright in the episode and the episode package as produced by or for LAWLI, subject to third-party rights and any separate written agreement. You retain ownership of your underlying materials, pre-existing intellectual property, trademarks, and independently created works, but you grant LAWLI the rights reasonably necessary to use those materials as part of the episode and its promotion.

7.4 Withdrawal requests

If you wish to withdraw consent for future use of an appearance, contact us at privacy@lawlipodcast.com.

We will consider withdrawal requests in good faith. Where permitted by law and consistent with any separate written agreement, LAWLI may limit new promotional uses after receiving a valid request. Withdrawal will not necessarily require LAWLI to remove content that has already been published, distributed, licensed, archived, included in compilations, or made available by third parties.

LAWLI may retain and use content where necessary to comply with law, protect legal rights, preserve records, respond to disputes, or satisfy contractual obligations.

7.5 Accuracy of guest statements

Guests are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of statements they make. You must not:

  • Knowingly make false or misleading statements;
  • Disclose another person’s confidential or personal information without permission;
  • Infringe another person’s rights;
  • Present personal opinions as professional advice;
  • Make unsupported medical, financial, tax, legal, earnings, or performance claims; or
  • Imply that LAWLI endorses statements that are not LAWLI’s own statements.

LAWLI does not independently verify every statement made by a guest and does not guarantee the accuracy of guest content.

Sponsorship and Advertising

You may submit a sponsorship, advertising, or brand-partnership enquiry through the Podcast Services. Submitting an enquiry does not create a sponsorship, advertising arrangement, endorsement, agency relationship, or other binding commitment.

No sponsorship or advertising arrangement is formed unless and until the parties sign a separate written agreement. A sponsorship agreement may address:

  • Deliverables;
  • Placement and timing;
  • Fees and payment;
  • Approval rights;
  • Claims substantiation;
  • Host-read endorsements;
  • Disclosure requirements;
  • Intellectual-property rights;
  • Cancellation;
  • Exclusivity;
  • Compliance obligations; and
  • Liability and indemnification.

Sponsors and advertisers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, substantiation, and regulatory compliance of their own claims, products, services, and advertising materials.

LAWLI may refuse, suspend, modify, or withdraw a sponsorship or advertisement at any time where we reasonably believe that it:

  • Violates applicable law;
  • Is deceptive, misleading, offensive, unsafe, or unsupported;
  • Creates a conflict with LAWLI’s values or editorial standards;
  • Infringes another person’s rights;
  • Creates unreasonable legal or reputational risk; or
  • Breaches a sponsorship agreement.

A sponsor’s payment or appearance does not mean that LAWLI endorses every statement, product, service, or claim made by that sponsor. Sponsorships and paid endorsements will be identified as required by applicable law.

Purchases, Merchandise, and Orders

LAWLI Podcast may offer merchandise, books, apparel, accessories, digital products, or other goods through the Podcast Services or a linked LAWLI store.

Product descriptions, images, availability, pricing, shipping estimates, and other information may change without notice. We may correct errors, update information, or discontinue products at any time.

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is not accepted until LAWLI or its payment and fulfilment provider confirms acceptance. We may reject or cancel an order, including where:

  • A product is unavailable;
  • Pricing or product information contains an error;
  • Payment cannot be verified;
  • We suspect fraud or unauthorized activity;
  • Shipping restrictions apply;
  • The order appears intended for resale or unlawful use; or
  • Cancellation is required by law or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing, payment, delivery, and contact information. Customers must be 18 or older to place an order.

Prices, taxes, shipping charges, duties, customs fees, and other charges will be presented at checkout where available. You are responsible for charges that apply in your location unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Shipping times are estimates only unless expressly guaranteed. LAWLI is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, strikes, incorrect addresses, or events outside our reasonable control.

Returns, refunds, exchanges, defective products, digital products, cancellations, and shipping matters are governed by the applicable Shop Terms, Returns and Refunds Policy, and any mandatory consumer rights applicable to you.

If no separate shop terms or returns policy are displayed at the time of purchase, contact privacy@lawlipodcast.com before completing your order.

User Content

The Podcast Services may allow you to submit comments, questions, stories, suggestions, feedback, guest applications, media files, social-media information, or other content (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of User Content that you lawfully own. By submitting User Content, you grant LAWLI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, edit, adapt, translate, publish, distribute, display, perform, promote, archive, and otherwise use that User Content in connection with the LAWLI Podcast, the LAWLI network, and related editorial, marketing, promotional, or business activities.

This licence continues for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and does not prevent you from using your User Content elsewhere, unless you separately agree otherwise.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or control the rights necessary to submit and license the User Content;
  • The User Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • The User Content does not violate another person’s rights;
  • You have obtained all permissions required for people, businesses, music, images, trademarks, or other material appearing in the User Content;
  • The User Content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, or harmful material; and
  • The User Content does not contain malware or other harmful code.

You must not submit confidential information, trade secrets, legally privileged communications, financial account information, government identification numbers, health information, or sensitive personal information through a general submission form.

Questions submitted for Q&A episodes may be edited and read on air, in a livestream, in an episode, on social media, or in promotional materials. Do not submit a question if you do not want it publicly associated with you.

LAWLI is not required to publish, return, review, respond to, or compensate you for User Content unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

We may remove, restrict, edit, or refuse User Content at any time where we believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, editorial standards, or the rights of another person.

Intellectual Property

The Podcast Services and Podcast Content are protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, database, publicity, and other applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, LAWLI and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in:

  • LAWLI Podcast episodes;
  • Audio and video recordings;
  • Show names and formats;
  • LAWLI names, logos, taglines, and brand elements;
  • Episode artwork and promotional artwork;
  • Transcripts, descriptions, graphics, and written content;
  • Website design, software, and functionality;
  • Music and sound recordings owned or licensed by LAWLI; and
  • Other materials made available through the Podcast Services.

The LAWLI name, “Life As We Love It,” LAWLI Podcast, related logos, and other marks may be trademarks or pending trademarks of LAWLI or its affiliates. You must not use them without prior written permission.

Third-party trademarks, brand names, book titles, product names, platform names, and logos referenced in episodes or displayed through the Podcast Services belong to their respective owners. No affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or authorization is implied unless expressly stated.

These discussions may be based on personal experiences, opinions, general information, or guest commentary.

No attorney-client, accountant-client, doctor-patient, therapist-client, financial-adviser-client, counsellor-client, or other professional relationship is created by your use of the Podcast Services or by communicating with LAWLI, a host, a guest, or a sponsor through the Podcast Services.

You should not act or refrain from acting based solely on Podcast Content. Consult a properly licensed and qualified professional in your own jurisdiction before making legal, financial, tax, medical, mental-health, relationship, estate, business, or other important decisions.

Professional rules, laws, regulations, and available remedies vary by jurisdiction. LAWLI does not guarantee that any information is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances.

Third-Party Links and Affiliates

The Podcast Services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, products, services, sponsors, retailers, charities, social-media pages, booking services, or other destinations.

Third-party links are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, recommendation, or representation by LAWLI. LAWLI does not control and is not responsible for:

  • Third-party content;
  • Product or service quality;
  • Prices, availability, or performance;
  • Privacy and security practices;
  • Terms and conditions;
  • Advertising or claims;
  • Transactions between you and third parties; or
  • Losses arising from your use of third-party services.

You access third-party destinations at your own risk. Review the applicable third party’s terms and privacy policy before using its service or providing personal information.

LAWLI may receive payment, commission, free products, or other compensation from sponsors, affiliates, or commercial partners. Where required, LAWLI will provide appropriate disclosures. A disclosure does not mean that LAWLI guarantees or independently verifies the sponsor’s claims.

Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Podcast Services and all Podcast Content are provided on an “as is,” “as available,” and “with all faults” basis.

LAWLI makes no representation or warranty that:

  • The Podcast Services will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free;
  • The Podcast Services will be available in every location or at every time;
  • Podcast Content will be accurate, complete, current, reliable, or suitable for your purposes;
  • Defects or errors will be corrected;
  • The Podcast Services will be free from viruses or harmful code;
  • Third-party platforms or links will remain available;
  • Any episode, guest, sponsor, product, service, outcome, or opportunity will meet your expectations; or
  • Content will not be lost, altered, removed, or unavailable.

To the extent warranties cannot be excluded under the law applicable to you, those warranties are limited to the minimum protection required by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LAWLI and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, hosts, guests, contributors, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss or damage, including loss of:

  • Profits;
  • Revenue;
  • Business opportunities;
  • Goodwill;
  • Reputation;
  • Data;
  • Content;
  • Use;
  • Anticipated savings; or
  • Other intangible value.

This limitation applies to claims arising from or related to:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Podcast Services;
  • Podcast Content;
  • Guest or sponsor content;
  • Third-party platforms or links;
  • Merchandise or transactions;
  • User Content;
  • Unauthorized access or security incidents;
  • Errors, interruptions, or delays; or
  • Any other matter relating to the Podcast Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LAWLI’s total aggregate liability for claims arising from or relating to the Podcast Services will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid directly to LAWLI for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • US$100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits such limitation.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies available to you under the laws of your country or region.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LAWLI and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, hosts, guests, contributors, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and representatives from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to:

  • Your breach of these Terms;
  • Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Podcast Services;
  • Your User Content;
  • Your guest appearance or statements;
  • Your violation of another person’s rights;
  • Your violation of applicable law; or
  • Your negligence, fraud, or intentional misconduct.

LAWLI reserves the right to assume exclusive control of the defence of any matter subject to indemnification. You agree to cooperate with that defence. You must not settle an indemnified claim without LAWLI’s prior written consent where the settlement imposes an obligation, admission, or liability on LAWLI.

This section does not require you to indemnify LAWLI to the extent that doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Podcast Services at any time.

LAWLI may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of the Podcast Services, with or without notice, where we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect users, LAWLI, guests, sponsors, or third parties;
  • Investigate suspected misconduct;
  • Enforce these Terms;
  • Comply with law or a legal request;
  • Address security or technical issues;
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access; or
  • Protect our rights, property, or reputation.

Termination or suspension does not affect rights or obligations that accrued before termination.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including provisions concerning intellectual property, Podcast Content, User Content, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and applicable law.

Copyright Complaints

LAWLI respects intellectual-property rights. If you believe that material available through the Podcast Services infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice to us at privacy@lawlipodcast.com.

A copyright notice should include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it;
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Podcast Services will be brought in the state and federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, United States, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts, except where a mandatory consumer protection gives you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country or region where you live.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer right or protection that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, practices, or applicable law. When we update these Terms, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Continued use of the Podcast Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
